PURPOSE:To correct the deflection error with good precision and to compensate the color deviation, by supplying the current waveforms synchronized with horizontal and vertical signals to the pairs of coils installed right and left, up and down, and front and back of a color picture tube. CONSTITUTION:The coils 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 3a and 3b are arranged at the right and left, up and down, and front and back of a color picture tube 4 to be employed in a color display device, and the coils 1a and 1b, 2a and 2b, and 3a and 3b are connected in series, respectively. Then, the current (i) flowing the coils 1, 2 and 3 of each pair supplies a voltage waveform 9 synchronized to the horizontal 5 and vertical signal 6 elaborated by a shaping circuit 7 by current amplifying with a current amplifier 8. The color deviation of the color picture tube is compensated by the magnetic field in the direction X, the direction Y and the direction Z made by such coils 1, 2 and 3 of each pair. Further, since this device corrects the deflection error in the position of the small focus deterioration and in the uniform parallel magnetic field, the focus deterioration of electronic beams of each R, G and B is small.
