The present invention relates to a container made of thermoplastic material whose structure is adapted to the transportation of heavy loads. The container of the invention is of the type made of thermoplastic material for heavy loads, comprising an inverted truncated pyramid-shaped element with a rectangular cross-section, characterised in that the bottom of the said container is constituted by a convex corrugated surface having three or more corrugations 1, 2, 3, the convexity of which faces the inside of the container and the generatrices of which have the direction of the largest of the dimensions of the container, which surface is adapted by its shape to absorb, by deformation, the tensions developed by the said loads either statically or by their dynamic action.
