<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a disk type memory in which the assembling and the adjudgement are simple, the accuracy is easily obtainable at a low price and suitable for mass production, by mounting removably a disk drive mechanism and a carriage mechanism on a sheet of plate, and independently covering the disk drive mechanism and the carriage mechanism by a cover. CONSTITUTION:When a disk drive mechanism 3 is operated and a stepping motor 504 is turned by the specified control signal rotating a disk 2, the rotation is transmitted to a carriage body 502 through a cabstan and a steel band, the body 502 performs the rectangular movement in the radial direction of the disk 2 as a roller rolls onto the guide rail sections 508a and 508b, records or reproduces the data by a magnetic head 4. As the disk drive mechanism 3 and the carriage mechanism 5 are mounted removably on a sheet of base plate 10 and covered by a cover 11, the assembly, adjustment, etc. are performed easily with high accuracy.</p> |
