PURPOSE:To obtain a photothermal inversion converter which can invert optical information directly into the heat by providing a light receiving part at one edge and an exothermic resistance layer at other edge, inverting the strength of the incident light to the light receiving part and constituting a circuit to make variable the electric current which flows at the exothermic resistance layer. CONSTITUTION:A printing circuit is constituted on an insulating substrate 1, and many converting elements 2, which are independently operated, are provided in parallel. At the upper part of respective converting elements 2, the light receiving part 5 composed of a photodiode is provided, under it, an inverting amplifying circuit 4 having transistors TR 1 and 2 is provided, and further, at the lower edge of the substrate 1, the exothermic resistance layer 5 and an electrode layer 6 for exothermic reaction are provided. Between the light receiving part 3 and the circuit 4 and between the circuit 4 and the resistance layer 5, a conducting wire part 7 and an electric conductor part 8 are respectively provided, and a conducting wire part 10 to connect an electrical power source 9 between the circuits 4 themselves is provided. A resistance layer 5 is provided at the edge surface part formed by substrates 1 and 11. When the incident light to the light receiving part 3 is strong, the electric current which flows at a TR 2 is little, and the exothermic quantity of the resistance layer 5 is little. When the incident light is weak, the electric current which flows at the resistance layer are much and the exothermic quantity is much. |
