PURPOSE:To obtain an information recording medium which is easily joined and sealed at a low cost by providing an information recording lyaer on at least one surface of a pair of substrates made of an acrylic resin, etc. and coating a gap material having a specific grain size or above to the inside and outside peripheral parts of one substrate. CONSTITUTION:The optical information recording layer 2 is formed of a metal such as Te (including an alloy), org. dye-contg. layer, etc. on the surface of at least one of two sheets of the substrates 1, 1 for the information recording medium. The mixture composed of the gap material 4 of glass, resin, metal, etc. having the grain size within an about >=0.5mm, more preferably 0.5-1mm range and the adhesive agent 3 such as an epoxy resin, acryl-urethane is coated to the inside and outside peripheral parts of either one substrate 1. These substrates are joined and sealed to one body except the space 5 with the recording layer 3 positioned on the inside. The adhesive agent 3 which does not require high-temp. heating such as curing by UV rays and cures in a short period is preferable. The stage is thus simplified byone coating of the adhesive agent 3 without the need for manufacturing spacers and the thoroughly sealed information recording medium (disk, etc.) is obtd. |
