PURPOSE:To obtain an efficient cooling effect as well as to enable to obtain a large current application capacity with a small-sized contact by a method wherein a stabilized two-point contact is always maintained for one contacting part of a movable contact, and an oil-passing hole is provided in the vicinity of a contact point. CONSTITUTION:Movable contacts 1 are guided to a spring supporting rod 5 and a spring-stop fitting 6 pinching a movable insulating plate, and the upper and the lower parts of them are arranged as a pair in such a manner than they are positioned close together with each other through the intermediary of an energized compression spring 4. Said movable contact pair are constituted in such a manner that one end of said pair of movable contacts 1 is pinchingly attached to a current-collecting contact 3, having a circular cross-section, in right- angled direction and other end of the movable contact 1 is attached pinching a fixed contact 2 having spherical surface. A V-shaped groove is provided on the contact part of the current- collecting contact 3 and the fixed contact 2 in the same direction as each of the contacts, and the contact part is constituted in such a manner that it is contacted by two points or two lines per one place. Also, an oil-passing hole 10 is provided in the vicinity of the contact part on the bottom section of said V-shaped groove, and the circulating path of the cooling medium located in the vicinity of the contact point is constituted. |
