PURPOSE:To enhance cleaning performance by selecting the materials of a cleaner fur brush and flicker bars in accordance with the polarities to be electrostatically charged. CONSTITUTION:The fur brush for sweeping off a remaining toner attaching to the surface of a photosensitive drum 10 at the time of cleaning is flocked on a fur brush roll 12. The flicker bar 13 forces the toner attaching to the fur brush to be separated off, and the flicker bar 14 flicks off the remaining toner having been unable to be removed. The roll 12 is made of rayon to be charged to a polarity reverse to that of the remaining toner 11 and having mechanical strength. A material to be charged to the polarity same as that of the toner is used for the flicker bars 13, 14. |
