PURPOSE:To provide the titled coating capable of forming a coating film having high flexibility and excellent impact resistance even at normal temperature or low temperature, by compounding an epoxy resin with specific acicular glass powder and specific granular inorganic filler at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective powder coating is produced by compounding (A) 100pts.(wt.) of an epoxy resin (e.g. bisphenol A-type epoxy resin) with (B) 100-180pts. of acicular glass powder having an average length of >=40mum and aspect ratio of >=4 and (C) >=30pts. of granular inorganic filler having an average particle diameter of <=1.0mum (e.g. titanium dioxide). The molar ratio of the unreactive terminal groups to the total terminal groups of the component A is preferably <=5%. The component B is preferably subjected to the surface treatment with e.g. aminosilane, etc., and the component C is preferably subjected to the surface treatment to improve the wettability with the component A.
