PURPOSE:To effectively perform the recording reproduction, by forming tracks at a minute spacing mutually in parallel on the magnetic sheet, recording, a position signal on the extension line of each track, reading this signal, and reproducing it, or a magnetic head to reciprocate at a determined speed in the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic head 6 is shifted to a determined speed in the horizontal direction, and electrical signal from the voice is supplied to the head 6, and the voice is recorded to the tracks on a voice sheet 1. At this time, a position write instruction is sent to a magnetic head 12 located on the extension line of the track lines, and a position signal is dot displayed. Then, when the head 6 abuts on a switch 11 at the right-hand side, a motor 8 performs the reverse rotation, turns in a fixed quantity, and shifts a shiftin body 4 a little down-ward along with a guard rail 3. Then, when the head 6 is shifted to the track line at the next step, a head 12 issues the position signal, and writes it to a sheet 1. Next, at reproduction, the head 6 is shifted in the perpendicular direction together wtih a shifting body 4, stopped at the point of time where the head 12 reads the position signal, and the voice information in the track lines is supplied to the head 6.
