PURPOSE:To obtain a primer composition capable of adequately bonding to olefin resin, also capable of forming coating film not debonding even during service, by dissolving in organic solvent a styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer or chlorinated product from hydrogenated product therefrom. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by dissolving (A) a styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer or a chlorinated product from hydrogenated product therefrom in, (B) an organic solvent soluble for the compo nent (A). The resin concentration in the final primer composition is 5-50wt%. Said chlovinated product is 20-45wt% in the chlorine content. An olefin resin to be bonded is one selected from polypropylene, ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber and styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer. Said organic solvent is e.g., toluene, xylene, chlonobenzene.
