PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition capable of giving molded articles of high rigidity and impact resistance, comprising specific modified ethylene- propylene block copolymer and surface-treated glass fiber. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) 99-40wt% of a modified ethylene-propylene block copolymer with a polar monomer content >=0.05wt% prepared by graft modification, in an extruder, of a blend made up of 1) crystalline ethylene-propylene block copolymer with an ethylene content 3-15wt%, melt flow rate 0.1-70g/10min, intrinsic viscosity of ambient temperature p-xylene solubles (in the form of decalin solution at 135 deg.C) 2.5-6, and ethylene content in ambient temperature p-xylene insolubles 1.5-10wt%, 2) a polar monomer and 3) an organic peroxide, (B) 0-20wt% of a polyolefin rubber and (C) 1-45wt% of surface-treated glass fiber. The component (B) should be one at least part of which has been modified with polar monomer.
