The invention isf concerned with converting an automatic pistol into a barrel-fixed pistol. The gun conversion assembly includes a barrel to be secured to a receiver and a connector structure having a portion which is adapted to be located within a magazine recess in the receiver handle. And the connector structure acts to secure the barrel rigidly to the connector.
