PURPOSE:To efficiently drive an elastic wave motor with a low voltage by uniformly disposing a drive source over the entire periphery of an elastic unit. CONSTITUTION:An A-phase made of piezoelectric units 31-312 is provided over the entire periphery of one surface of an elastic unit 1, and a B-phase made of piezoelectric units 313-324 is provided by the phase difference of lambda/4 from the A-phase on the other surface opposed to the surface provided with the A-phase.A vibration transmitter 1a is formed with the prescribed width inside the unit 1, and a rotor 2 is contacted with the vibration transmitter 1a. A drive signal S0 is supplied to the A-phase, and a drive signal shifted by 90 deg. from the signal S0 is supplied to the B-phase. |
