PURPOSE:To enable high speed processing by providing a mode that deals with basic element command that defines the position and shape of a displayed graphic and attribute command and a mode that deals with only attribute command in a graphic data processor. CONSTITUTION:A main storage unit 3 of a terminal control processor 1, a graphic data file 4, a graphic processor 5, an inputting device 7 and a communicating device to host 9 are connected to the input/output pulse of a terminal control processor 1. A mode that deals with basic element command that defines the position and shape of a displayed graphic and attribute command, and a mode that deals with only attribute command are provided in the graphic processor 5. The graphic data file 4 and graphic processor 5 are connected by an exclusive bus 8, and a graphic display device 6 is connected to the output bus of the graphic processor 5.
