PURPOSE:To use a multi-function telephone also to an extension telephone by providing a memory into a telephone set to store the call-back dial tone information together with a register means to register the call-back dial tone information in the memory and an operating button to read the information out of the memory. CONSTITUTION:When a call-back button CB of a telephone is pushed in an on-hook state, a central processing unit 8 sets the telephone under a register mode. Then the '3' information is set to an input register 71 of a memory 7 with push of a dial button 3. this set '3' information is shifted and stored in a call-back table 72 with push of a write button WR. If the button is pushed in a busy mode, the unit 8 sets the telephone under a call-back dial tone mode and gives an access to the memory 7 to read the '3' information out of the table 72. At the same time, an access is given to a loop switch circuit 3. Then a DP signal '3' is produced based on the '3' information. A private branch exchange receives the signal '3' and carries out the connection processing.
