PURPOSE:To permit a combined use of an oil pan to reduce metal mold cost by attaching an intermediate size oil pan for a combined use to a cylinder block through a space exclusively used for an engine. CONSTITUTION:The length of an oil pan 1 for a combined use is of intermediate one between the lengths for 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder engines for example. When said oil pan is mounted on the 3-cylinder engine, it is attached through a spacer 5 excusively used for a cylinder block 3 and when on the 4-cylinder it is attached through a spacer 6 exclusively used for the 4-cylinder block. Thus, the oil pan 1 can be used for a combined use to reduce metal mold cost. |
