PURPOSE:To increase a copying speed while holding the processing speed of image formation constant by performing control which inhibits parallel conveyance unless transfer paper size determined by original size and magnification in initial mode setting is specific size. CONSTITUTION:When the 'parallel conveyance' display in an operation part illuminates, a copy mode selection is made differently according to whether or not there is an 'original' key input after a 'parallel conveyance' key is turned on. Only when the original size determined by set magnification and original size is A3 or A4, 'parallel conveyance' is displayed on a display part. Further, when copy size determined unequivocally by the original size input and magnification input in the mode setting is larger or smaller than copy size set in a paper feeding device, this parallel conveyance copying is meaningless. Therefore, the 'parallel conveyance' is displayed on the display part only when the set copy size is the copy size which is determined unequivocally during the 'parallel conveyance' display. |
