PURPOSE:To enable a hot water accumulation and a snow melting operation to be facilitated by a method wherein water is supplied only to a cold water piping arranged at the top part of a roof and the heat pipe is used as a solar heat collector during summer season and in turn during winter season the hot water is supplied only to the hot water piping arranged below the roof and the heat pipe is used as a radiation pipe. CONSTITUTION:A cold water piping 1 is arranged above the roof and a hot water piping 2 is arranged below the roof, i.e. at eaves, and the heat pipe 3 is arranged in such a way as its end is inserted into both of them. During summer season, water is supplied to the cold water piping 1 and the hot water piping 2 is left vacant, resulting in that solar heat S is applied to the heat pipe 3 to heat the same the working gas contained in the heat pipe is ascended upward as a regular flow, the working liquid which is heat exchanged with the cold water and liquified there is flowed down and evaporated. This operation is repeated continuously. Then, during winter season, the hot water is fed to the hot water piping 2, the cold water piping 1 is left vacant, resulting in that the working liquid in the heat pipe 2 is heated and ascended, radiates in the midway of its working and melts the accumulated snow on the roof. |
