PURPOSE:To enable automatic weighing of an amount of lubricating oil poured, by a method wherein a temporary oil storing chamber, adapted to temporarily store the poured lubricating oil, is formed, and a weighing sensor is located to the outlet of the temporary oil storing chamber. CONSTITUTION:A temporary oil storing chamber 14, adapted to temporarily store lubricating oil, is formed, and a lubricating oil outlet 14c of the temporary storing chamber 14. At least a part of the lubricating oil outlet 14c is formed by a clear member such as glass, an emitter 16a and collector 16b are mounted to said part in a manner to be positioned facing each other to form a light transmitting type weighing sensor. Detection of an amount of lubricating oil passing through the lubricating oil outlet 14c by means of the weighing sensor causes weighing of an amount of the lubricating oil poured. This constitution enables automatic weighing of an amount of the lubricating oil poured.
