PURPOSE:To increase a copying speed while holding the processing speed of image formation constant by copying different-mode originals by the same copying operation during parallel conveyance. CONSTITUTION:The parallel conveyance allows copying operation in which an original of large size is copied to two sheets of small size as it is known as continuous page copying, but originals of different kind (different mode) can be copied by the same copying operation. Namely, modes (copy quantity, both-surface, composition, and inversion) are settable for originals A and B which are copied by the same copying operation respectively and the number of times of repetition is specified by a larger copy quantity setting side in the copying operation. In such a case, a photosensitive body is erased in copying operation after copies are taken by a set number at a smaller quantity setting side to eliminate unnecessary development. Consequently, various copy modes are dealt with an the copying operativity is improved. |
