PRODUCTION OF ASSEMBLY CAM SHAFT

摘要

PURPOSE:To attain the high strength reinforcement for hollow steel shaft by inserting the reinforced pipe made of long fiber reinforced plastic in the inner periphery of the hollow steel shaft combining cam piece by diameter expansion and by joining with diameter expansion the reinforced pipe to the hollow steel pipe. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical reinforcing pipe 160 made of long fiber reinforced plastic is inserted to the inner periphery of hollow steel shaft 101. The reinforcing pipe 160 is then expanded by applying the inner pressure of air pressure or liquid pressure as well as by heating the reinforcing pipe 160 and the hollow steel shaft 101 if necessary and joined to the nearly bellows shaped inner peripheral face of the hollow steel shaft 101. The cam shaft 100 thus assembled can pass the long fiber to the projecting part 161, 162... and the hollow steel shaft 101 and reinforcing shaft 160 are strongly joined.
