PURPOSE:To enhance light fatigue resistance, durability, and humidity resistance, to lower residual potential, and to prevent deterioration in characteristics at the time of repeated uses by forming a photoreceptor of a specified 2-layer structure having a photoreceptive layer made of an amorphous material composed of Si as a base. CONSTITUTION:The first layer is made of an amorphous material composed of Si as a base and contg. at least one of H or halogen. The second layer is mace of an amorphous material composed of Si as a base and contg. C and a conductivity governing element, and at least one of H and halogen, and oxygen is uniformly distributed into one of the whole layer regions of the first layer, the whole layer regions of the first layer, or the whole layer regions of the second layer. |
