PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of paper caused by the delay of registering control as little as possible at the time when the paper of a printing press is spliced, by stopping the registering control for a predetermined time on the basis of the paper splicing completion signal imparted from the printing press. CONSTITUTION:A printing press is provided with registering control units 31, 32, 33 corresponding to three channels and an automatic control interruption apparatus 100 is provided in order to successively stop the registering controls of the registering control units 31-33 and receives the pulse signal (e) from a pulse generator PG, the paper splicing completion signal (a) and the count number set value calculated by the operation in a count number operation circuit 120 to perform the counting of a pulse up to a present value at every registering control units and subsequently interrupts automatic registering control for a predetermined time.
