PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of vibrations due to the air sucked between a stripper and die, to increase the product accuracy and to extend the life of metal dies by piercing an air vent on at least either one part of the stripper or die. CONSTITUTION:The air is sucked between a stripper 12 and die 16 and compressed at punching time when a high speed pressing of the member 20 to be worked of plate shape is performed by punch 8, but this air is exhausted to the first and second air vents 14...,19.... As the result the air compression under the stripper 12 is eliminated and the generation of the deformation and vibration of the stripper 12 at working time is prevented. The stripper 12 equally comes into contact with the member 20 to be worked and yet the bend of the punch 8 due to the deformation of the stripper 12 is prevented and the products accuracy is increased. |
