PURPOSE:To align axis of mounting to the best axis by working a member stuck on the peripheral surface of a lens so that the outer peripheral surface of the member is parallel to the best axis and mounting the lens on the basis of the outer peripheral surface. CONSTITUTION:Parallel luminous flux 8 is projected on a lens 1 and converged. The state of the converged spot is observed while the relative position relation of the lens 1 with the luminous flux 8 is varied to find the lens arrangement with which the best image formation spot is obtained, thus obtaining an axis 7 parallel to the incident parallel luminous flux 8. This axis 7 is the best axis. Then, the member 9 is stuck on the peripheral surface 2 of the lens and the peripheral surface of the member 9 is so worked that the axis 7 is parallel to the peripheral surface 10 of the member 9. The lens 1 is mounted on the basis of the peripheral surface of the member 9, so the axis of mounting is aligned to the best optical axis 7. Consequently, the lens 1 is mounted in the best mounting state. |
