The subject of the invention is a device intended to plug a fluid-transporting pipeline, comprising a cylindrical inflatable enclosure 23 and a bypass tube 7 passing through this cylindrical enclosure 23 so as to allow controlled passage of the fluid, characterised in that the said tubes 7 is integral with one of the end walls 3 of the cylindrical enclosure 23 and slides in a sleeve 12 integral with the other end wall 4 of the cylindrical enclosure 23, and in that a flexible cylindrical sheath, impermeable to gases 19, 31 is arranged inside the enclosure 23 around the said tube, the ends of this sheath 19, 31 being fixed in a sealed fashion on the one hand to the said tube 7 and, on the other hand, to the outer surface of the said sleeve 12 so as to ensure both sealing of the said enclosure and to allow sliding of the said tube 7 relative to the said sleeve 12. <IMAGE>
