The machine for scattering glass pellets onto roadway markings has an air-operated discharge and a bucket wheel metering the quantity combined into one unit. A common housing (10) contains a chamber (11) for the incoming pellets. Another housing (12) has a nozzle system (18,19) for discharging pellets. The two housings are separated by the bucket wheel (13) and partitions (14,15). The common housing contains an air inlet (20) into the second housing (12).
