PURPOSE:To enable program runaway to be detected by deciding that the abnormality in program execution exists when the interruption request is issued at each first prescribed time to the program and yet the reception response from the program is not obtained. CONSTITUTION:A monitor program 12 is stored in a ROM 11. A timer T1 is set in a timer 13 by a control part 9 and started. When timeout information E is issued from the timer 13, the control part informs a processing part 6 of that effect, and issues an interruption request RQ to effect interruption in the monitor 7. Then it sets time T2 in the timer 13 and starts to wait for a reception response K from the monitor 7 as to the interruption request RQ. In case of the presence of the reception response K, it reverts to the setting of time T1 in the timer 13. In the absence of the response K and non-arrival of the timeout information E, it reverts to waiting for response K. On reception of the timeout information E, it issues an alarm command B. The alarm com mand is transmitted to a control part 9 and an alarm is outputted to an output part 10. |
