NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I [R<1> and R<2> are alkyl; R<3> is phenyl substituted with pyridazinyloxy or pyridazinylthio; X is O or S] and its salt. EXAMPLE:O-methyl-S-sec-butyl-O-[2-(3-chloropyridazinyl-6-oxy)p-henyl]- thiophos phoric acid ester. USE:An insecticidal and miticidal agent effective against plant-damaging insects, mites parasitic to animal and vegetable, hygienic vermin, etc. PREPARATION:1mol of the compound of formula HOR<3> or its salt is made to react with preferably 1-1.5mol or the compound of formula II (Hal is halogen) usually in an inert solvent such as methanol, preferably in the presence of an acid acceptor such as triethylamine, etc. at 0-100 deg.C for 30min-10hr.
