<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous process by providing a memory chip, and a display unit which automatically varies at an external appearance in case of writing in the chip, thereby simply discriminating whether written or not to improve the working efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A memory chip 1, an electrode group 2 and a display unit 3 are held in a case 4, and ultraviolet ray emitting quartz transparent window 5 is formed above the chip 1 and the unit 3. The unit 3 is formed of a heater 3b secured on a thermally insulating ceramic substrate and a thermosensitive coloring unit 3a formed thereon. The unit 3a is constructed to color the surface portion by oozing, for example, ink melted by heating upward. The heater 3b is connected between the writing signal line 6 for the chip 2 and a ground line 7. Accordingly, when a writing voltage Vpp higher than when reading is applied to the line 6 in case of writing information to the chip 2, the heater 3b is automatically heated to automatically color to display on the unit 3a.</p> |
