PURPOSE:To enable development processing for attaining a high max. density in an extremely short time by processing a photographic sensitive material having a hydrophilic colloidal layer contg. oil drops in order to prevent pressure or abrasion fog with a developing soln. contg. K<+> in a specified proportion. CONSTITUTION:The developing soln. contg. K ions in an amt. of 50-100mol % of the total ions of alkali metals, such as Na, K, and Li, preferably, in an amt. of >=0.5mol/l, is used for developing the silver halide photographic sensitive material contg. a high b.p. solvent, such as carboxylic or phosphoric acid ester, for preventing pressure or abrasion fog. thus permitting said photosensitive material to be developed for 10-40sec at 30-45 deg.C and an image high in the max. density to be obtained by developing in a short time dependent on the developing temp. |
