PURPOSE:To give a sufficient electric charge to a toner by disposing a hollow magnet in a cylindrical sleeve to which a developer composed of two components adheres and providing rotatably a developer agitating tank which is magnetically shielded in this hollow magnet. CONSTITUTION:A developer 21 discharged to a first developer receiver 25 from a developer discharging port 30 is stored directly below it, naturally spread, and carried by a developer carrying means 31 to spread to a developer poiring port 29 side. The developer exiting within a range to which a magnetic force of a magnet 23 is applied is attracted by the magnetic force, adheres to a sleeve 22, is carried to a development control blade 25a and stopped thereby. Thus, the developer 21 is rapidly increased a the spread in lateral direction of and an eveness of a layer thickness of the developer on the sleeve 22 is made. The developer 21 passing through the developer control blade 25a is carried to developing areas 36, 37, then a toner is adsorbed to a latent image formed on a latent image carrier such as a sensitive drum (not shown) to carry out the development. |
