PURPOSE:To promote the operation of thread guard, by making threads into contact with and run along a thread distributing plate positioned between the converging point of the threads which are sucked and converged by a suction gun and a bobbin so that the threads are engaged one by one into thread engaging grooves in the thread distributing plate, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Four threads Y having passed over fulcrum guides 32 are beforehand sucked by a suction gun 33 while a thread distributing plate 20 is advanced, and all threads 4 are inserted in one bundle into a thread guide 18 by operating the suction gun 33. Due to the running of the thread guide 18 the threads Y make into contact with and run on the front surface of the thread distributing plate 20, and the leftmost first thread Y1 is engaged into a thread engaging groove 26-1 in the thread distributing plate 20 while the other threads Y2-Y4 pass over the thread engaging groove 26-1. Accordingly, after the guide 18 pass over all thread engaging grooves 26, the threads Y are engaged in the thread engaging grooves 26, respectively, thereby the threads Y run in parallel with each other between fulcrum guides 32 and the engaging grooves 26. |
