The aim of the invention is to demonstrate the possibility of producing magnetic circuits without a shaped blanking tool. This circuit is produced by shearing from roll or strip metal sheets, the sheets being joined by welding or adhesive bonding A-A' - B-B'. It has the advantage of permitting better utilisation of the working volume through ideal filling of the portion reserved for the copper 4, this circuit being closed by pressure and not by sleeve-jointing as in conventional circuits. It enables the various grades of sheet metal to be combined so as to optimise losses and hence overheating. It allows winding onto the core 1 itself so as to avoid any vibrations of the latter. <IMAGE>
