摘要 PURPOSE:To enable mean changes in a block to be grasped to reduce error or noise in the information to be processed by writing the sum of the image pickup data of all the points in the block as typical value in the image memory. CONSTITUTION:In image processing initialized content of an image memory 1 is read and introduced into an adder 4 through a buffer 3c. The image pickup data are introduced into the adder 4 through a buffer 3a. Since the content of the memory 1 is initialized, the leading point pickup data of the block are outputted as it is from the adder 4 and latched by a buffer 3d. The image pickup data of the next point are introduced by the next clock through the buffer 3a into the adder 4 and the result of addition with the content of the buffer 3a is outputted and again latched in the buffer 3d. In such a manner, the image data of all the points in the block are summed together and the sum is written as the typical value of the block in the memory 1 through the buffer 3b to produce information lesser in error or noise content.
