RECEIVING APPARATUS FOR RED-HOT COKE

PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus capable of delivering red-out coke safely and efficiently, by constructing a discharge gate so as to have a shape capable of being fitted from the inside of a coke bucket and to be opened and closed by engaging it with an opening-and-closing mechanism for discharge gate mounted on a prechamber. CONSTITUTION:A coke bucket 5 having a cylindrical or polygonal body is provided. At the bottom of the coke bucket 5 is mounted a conical or pyramidal discharge gate 7 capable of being fitted from the inside of the coke bucket 5. The coke bucket 5 is placed on a truck 1 movably and detachably. An opening-and-closing mechanism 11 for discharge gate is mounted on a prechamber 32. A red-out coke discharged from a coke oven is caught in the coke bucket 5. The coke bucket 5 is transferred by means of the prechamber 32 equipped with a fire-extinguishing apparatus and dropped to engage the discharge gate 7 with the opening-and-closing mechanism 11 for discharge gate, so that the discharge gate 7 is lifted to discharge the red-hot coke.
