PURPOSE:To prompt disposal emergency of to facilitate the operator's operation to improve efficiency by providing a voice producing device and a speaker, and issuing alarm by voice in case of the occurrence of an accident card. CONSTITUTION:A POS controller for making an inquiry such as credit inquiry is provided with a voice generator 7, a voice amplifier 8, a speaker for issuing a voice alarm and a sentence memory 10 storing the sentence or message for issuing an alarm. In case of credit inquiry, data read from a credit card is read by a CPU 2 through a transmission circuit 12. When it is judged to be an accident card, a message is set through a memory 10 in a message buffer 11. This message is read by the device 7, converted into analog signals, amplified by a voice amplifier 8 are outputted as voice from the speaker 9. In such a manner, emergency disposal can be executed promptly while the operator's operation is facilitated and the efficiency is thereby improved. |
