PURPOSE:To insert and display one of two pictures comprised of two external input 3 primary color signals to the other by using a switching signal from the 1st video device so as to switch both the 3 primary color signals from the 1st and 2nd video devices. CONSTITUTION:The red/green/blue primary color signals with respect to picture information generated by the 1st and 2nd video device 13, 14 are fed to clamp circuits 16, 18, 20 and clamp circuits 17, 19, 21. The 1st video device 13 synthesizes the three primary color signals (c, d, e) and generates a Ys signal when the produced luminance signal has a prescribed level or over, and switching circuits 22, 23, 24 output selectively each output primary color signal of the clamp circuits 16, 18, 20 when the Ys signal (f) is at high level and each output primary color signal of the clamp circuits 17, 19, 21 when low level. The 1st picture by the video device 13 is inserted and displayed in the reproduced pattern of a television receiver 1 while the 2nd picture by the video equipment 14 is displayed. |
