PURPOSE:To eliminate the displacement of an axial center even when a rim of a large diameter and a rotating speed largely very by providing a mechanism for radially elongating and shrinking the rim while supporting the rim and the loads of poles between the spokes and the rim of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:In a vertical shaft type rotor for supporting poles 5 by mounting spokes 3 on the periphery of a main shaft 1, and an annular rim 6 through a key 17 at the spokes 3, an elongating and shrinking mechanism is provided between the spokes 3 and the rim 6. This mechanism is formed of a stationary plate 20 inserted into a laminated core 7, a supporting plate 21 secured to the plate 30, and a retainer 22 for slidably moving the plate 21. The rim 6 and the part of the weight of the pole 5 are supported by the mechanism, and the radial elongation and shrinkage of the rim 6 are equalized over the entire periphery of the rim. |
