PURPOSE:To suppress heat from a core and windings and overheat of core tightening fittings and tank walls so as to make an inside structure simpler and reduce the weight of a tank by a method wherein an insulation gas in the tank is cooled by radiators attached to the inside of the tank. CONSTITUTION:A radiator 21 is attached to the inside surface of a tank 18. The radiator 21 is fitted to connecting ducts 22 which are connected to coolant collecting pipes 16 for cooling a core 1 and windings 2 and all of them are linked together. As the cooling ducts 22 are provided all over the circumference, the number of radiators 21 to be attached is freely selected in accordance with the amount of generated heat from the core and the windings. A coolant 12 cooled in a cooler 14 is poured into the tank 18 by a pump 13 and transmitted to the core 1 and the windings 2 through coolant collecting pipes 16 and cooled by respective cooling panels 6. Also, the coolant 12 is transmitted to the radiators 21 through the cooling ducts 22 and an insulation gas 19 is cooled down. With this constitution, the heat generated by the core 1 and the windings 2 is discharged into the insulation gas 19 but absorbed by the radiators 21 so that heat insulators attached to the surfaces of the core 1 and the windings 2 are unnecessitated. |
