PURPOSE:To minimize a malinput without being influenced by the change of the external evnironment and the disturbance light by facing and arranging two transparent substrates having plural parallel line-shaped light guiding paths and crossing mutually the light guiding paths. CONSTITUTION:The light guiding path 2 bonded to the transparent substrate 1 and the guiding path 4 bonded to a flexible transparent 1 and the light guiding path 4 bonded to a flexible transparent thin plate 3 respectively in the line- shaped manner plurally in parallel, are faced and arranged and the light guide paths are crossed mutually. the refractive index of the light guiding path is larger than that of the substrate and thin plate, and the clearance is maintained through a spacer to the panel periphery. When the thin plate 3 is pushed with fingers, the light guiding paths 2 and 4 are compressed, the coordinates of the touch position are detected by the decrease of the passing light quantity, the paths are not influenced by the change of the external environment, the refractive index of the light guiding path is made large, the influence of the disturbance is prevented, and the malinput can be prevented. The clearance between panels is kept, the light quantity change at the time of the touch and non-touch is made large and can be inputted more correctly.
