There exists a coupling in which a coupling disc 6 which is connected to the spindle 1 in a rotationally fixed manner is arranged between a drivable flywheel 2, which is coaxial with the spindle, and a pressure plate 10 which is connected to the flywheel in a rotationally fixed manner and can be made to reciprocate in relation to the flywheel by means of a piston/cylinder device 15, 18 which is arranged on the outside. It is desirable for the transfer of oil from the piston/cylinder device to the coupling disc to be impeded to a greater extent. This is achieved in that the flywheel 2 is designed in a pot-like manner and accommodates the coupling disc 6 and the pressure plate 10 and in that a sliding junction 13 with an oil seal 12 is provided between the edge of the pressure plate and the pot-like wall 5 of the flywheel. The arrangement of the axially reciprocating pressure plate in the flywheel pot means that now only the seal of a slide junction is needed to prevent oil reaching the coupling disc. <IMAGE>
