PURPOSE:To enable an indexing angle for a type to be enlarged, by providing an index plate with a plurality of positioning engaging parts, one for N pieces of adjacent types. CONSTITUTION:The index plate 45 is fixed to an end face of a transmission gear 41. The index plate 45 is provided with a plurality of positioning recessed parts 45a, one for each two adjacent types 29a on a type wheel 29. Two operating members 46a, 46b are provided on the lower side of the index plate 45, and projected parts 47a, 47b capable of being engaged with the type-indexing recessed parts 45a are provided at upper parts of the tips of the operating members 46a, 46b. The operating members 46a, 46b are turnably supported by a support shaft 48 so that the projected parts 47a, 47b are located an angle B to a rotary shaft 28, the angle B being an odd number times of the minimum indexing angle A required for selecting a type. |
