PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of slip by reduction-correcting the fundamental fuel amount determined on the basis of the accelerating pedal stepping-in amount when the engine revolution speed is larger than the product between the ground car speed and the gear ratio corresponding to the gear position of a transmission in the clutch connection state. CONSTITUTION:In the travel of a car, the fundamental fuel amount supplied from a fuel feeding mechanism including a throttle valve 3 is determined, on the basis of the output of an accelerating pedal sensor 11 in an ECU1. Each detection signal supplied from an engine revolution speed sensor 8, clutch switch 10, transmission gear position sensor 6, and a ground car speed sensor 7 is input into the ECU1. When the engine revolution speed is larger than the product between the ground car speed and the gear ratio corresponding to the gear position of a transmission 5 with a clutch 9 in connection state, the above- described fundamental fuel amount is reduced according to the difference of the revolution speed which is obtained by subtracting the product between the ground car speed and the above-described gear ratio from the engine revolution speed. |
