A pistol whose slide is extended into the interior, beyond the grooves of the coupling zone between the barrel and slide until this coupling zone is covered and is isolated from the exterior. On its rear part and internally the slide has a chamber which contains a firing pin and a rear needle which are opposite one another or are not opposite one another depending on the desired position of a safety device which can be operated from the exterior and controls the movement of a cam. During its movement, the cam hooks onto an integral disconnection device which on the one side is hooked to the pin and on the other side passes on the movement to the head piece of a locking latch, in order to separate it. A hammer recuperator is located in the interior of the rear stock part, which can be removed from the stock.
