In the case of this mixer unit for showers and filling bathtubs, a non-return-flow device which is to be opened by the pressure of the flowing water and in the form of a rubber element (15) is structurally combined with the changeover switch (3, 4), built into the wall, in the region of the water discharge (5), of said switch, leading to the tub. Furthermore, a ventilating means (16, 17), which is connected to the atmosphere and can be closed by the rubber element (15) in its open position caused by the flowing water, is provided for the tub discharge (5). As a result, a return flow of used water into the drinking-water supply line is not possible even if the tub inlet is integrated into the tub overflow. In the case of an outflow blockage, it would thus be possible for the tub overflow to be flooded by used water, and a subatmospheric pressure would arise in the drinking-water supply in such a situation. <IMAGE>
