PURPOSE:To attain to stabilize output characteristics, by providing a current control mechanism for cutting off or lowering the discharge current of a galvanic cell other than a time when the concn. of oxygen is monitored. CONSTITUTION:When a current is supplied to a relay coil 4 at the monitoring time of the concn. of oxygen, a relay contact 5 is closed to an always open contact side and a discharge current I1 corresponding to the ratio of the output voltage of a galvani cell 1 and the sum resistance value of a temp. compensating thermistor 2 and a correction resistor 3 is flowed to the cell 1 only for a time T1 other than a time when the concn. of oxygen is monitored, the supply of a current to the coil 4 is stopped and the contact 5 is closed to an always closed contact side. Therefore, the thermistor 2 and a current control resistor are connected in series and the discharge current I2 corresponding to the ratio of the output voltage of the cell 1 and the sum resistance value of the thermistor 2 and the current control resistor is flowed only for a time T2. Because a discharge current is reduced other than a time when the concn. of oxygen is monitored as mentioned above, the change in output voltage with the elapse of time is reduced and output characteristics can be stabilized. |
