A radial-piston fuel injection pump with rotating distributor (3) is proposed, in which the start of injection (SB) and the end of injection (SE) are adjustable by two actuating drives (37, 45). The start of injection is adjusted by limiting the amount of fuel fed to the pump working chamber (11). For this purpose an adjustable annular slide valve (30) is assigned to the filling line, the admission orifice (31) of which valve (30) interacts with a filling groove (27) in the distributor. Depending on the position of the annular slide valve, the working chamber is filled more or less during the suction stroke of the pump piston (6), so that in the ensuing pressure stroke the start of injection is advanced or retarded. The end of injection (SE) is adjusted by axial adjustment of the distributor or by axial adjustment of an annular slide valve (67) which interacts with an inclined relief groove (14) in the distributor. …<IMAGE>… |
