PURPOSE:To lower a cost and to attain a further simple constitution as a whole by converting a balancing modulating signal in which a phase of a carrier is shifted every one horizontal scanning period from a balancing modulating means into a right angle two phase modulated chroma signal. CONSTITUTION:A balancing modulating signal is inputted to a glass DL and an adding circuit 12. The glass DL 20 delays an output signal by 1H with respect to an original input signal and can take out the output signal having the same polarity as or a reverse polarity to the original signal. When comparing the figure (a) with the figure (c), between a line of a color difference signal R-Y of (a) and the line of the color difference signal R-Y of (c), a time is dislocated by 1H, and a phase of a carrier is reversed. Therefore, if this carrier is interleaved with respect to a horizontal scanning frequency, carriers of the lines of the color difference signal R-Y of (a) and the color difference signal R-Y of (c) are continuously connected. Accordingly, by adding the balancing modulating signals shown in the figures (a) and (c) by the adding circuit 12, a right angle two phase modulated chroma signal can be obtained. |
