PURPOSE:To carry out a good correction constantly to a broadcasting system having different scanning frequencies and an image signal having a disturbed scanning frequency by making a delay quantity of a signal delay means variable, detecting a synchronizing signal corresponding to a scanning of an electronic beam of an inputted image signal and controlling the delay quantity of the signal delay means so as to be equal to a spacing of this detected synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:A horizontally synchronizing signal from a main deflection driving circuit 20 is fed to a phase comparator 602. This compared output if fed to a voltage controlled type oscillator 603. This oscillated output is fed to the phase comparator 602 through a 1/M frequency divider 604. Thereby a phase locked loop PLL 610 is constituted and an oscillating signal of a frequency M.fH M times as many as a horizontal frequency fH of the fed synchronizing signal is formed. This oscillating signal is fed to a clock terminal of a CCD 601. Thereby, in the CCD 601, an M stages of transfer is carried out by a clock signal M times as many as the synchronizing signal. In an output of the CCD 601 a delay signal of a constantly and correctly coinciding delay quantity is taken out during a horizontal period of the fed image signal.
